What is it?

When we talk of different cultures, we tend to imagine people from far off places whose way of living and thinking is at antipodes from our own.

But as more and more people move around the planet, our global village is becoming a place of intercultural exchange and experience for us all.

And for many of us today, we are in contact with people from different cultures on a daily basis.

Culture is on all of our doorsteps and whether we are fascinated or frustrated by each other, we need to learn to live and work with people whose way of doing things is fundamentally different from our own.

Intercultural competence is a necessity for us all today. Cultural diversity, seen as an asset can enrich your image your organisation and your people. 

The aim of this half day workshop is to identify what cultural difference is, understand its impact on your organisation and explore ideas as to how you can improve performance as well as benefit from its presence in a professional environment.
